Downtown Nashville (along with many neighboring cities) is currently underwater. Media attention has been focused on other news stories and not many people know of the disaster area that is now Nashville, TN. I have offered to donate signed copies of Shadow of the Sun along with advice on 10,000 words of a manuscript to http://dothewritethingfornashville.blogspot.com/. I will keep you posted when I hear back from them.

I spent several years of my life living in Nashville and love the city. There was major flooding where I live in KY, but my house is on an incline and was unaffected. Thousands of others were not so lucky and I beg you to help in some way, even if it is a small donation to the Red Cross, or bidding on the auctions above. I also urge you to twitter, facebook, email, call, or myspace to friends to spread the word of the catastrophic events that destroyed a beloved city.
